    Lovely quilt and lovely find. So sad for the the family that sold it-they do not know what they lost. Good for your Mother to rescue.

    That's so sweet to be donating the finished quilt. It will make someone very, very happy. I'd hate to think my family just tossed my handmade things aside if I got sick. So far all I have are sons and one grandson. Where are the girls!! They appreciate things like this more than boys.
