    Thank you everyone for the kind comments! Yes, we are so lucky to still have my mother. Her mind is sharp as a tack; the only thing that bothers her are her knees. But she still gets around with a cane, drives (yes, drives!) locally, loves to watch tennis, does crossword puzzles daily. I could go on and on! We had a big party for her when she turned 90; and last year at 95 she had 7 cakes from various groups or people in the community. I'm praying we will have another big party in 4 years, when she turns 100. However, every year is a celebration. My dad's been gone since 1998 and we miss him every day, but we are truly blessed to still have Mom. Thanks again for your wonderful warm comments!
