My mother also turned 96 yesterday. She lives in NC and I am taking her the first quilt I made. She was a home ec teacher for the state college and always wanted me to learn. My mother is also the oldest female living who served in WW II. Third female to sign up. May God bless and be with all of our troops.

Your Mom looks wonderful. Hard to believe she is 96. She sure is happy with that lovely quilt you made for her. You are very fortunate to have such an alert and "with it" mother.
