    My mom turned 96 yesterday. I surprised her with a lap quilt that I made for her. I think the pattern is Warm Wishes (I'm not good with pattern names.) She loved it. You may be surprised to learn that most of the fabric came from Walmart; only 2 fabrics come for Joann's. The backing fabric Mom gave to me and said to "use it for something"! Little did she know that I would use it for her!

    Such a pretty quilt. Mom seems really happy and it looks good on her lap. Good work.

    Beautiful quilt. Your Mom looks great. Pink and green are my favorite colors. Thanks for posting those great pictures.

    it's such a beautiful quilt. i love that you put a lighter pink border next to the center blocks. your label is beautiful.... and so is your Mom :)

    What a beautiful Mom you have. The quilt is beautiful and I'm sure she will enjoy it. Wish her a Belated Happy Birthday for me!
