    Oh, my. This is simply wonderful & I know it will be so very special to your friend to have something that will bring her comfort & sweet memories of her mother. Bet this is just a dream to snuggle under too.

    ok, I wasn't going to login but I just had to. That was the most considerate, loving act that you did. The quilt,and the thoughts of her mothers gowns brought tears. I wish I had a friend like you....blessings.

    This quilt is beautiful. I made two for a friend of mine, My pass boss and her brother, who happens to be my PT. Their mother died and she had many sweatshirts. I made it like a T-shirt quilt. they both love to keep warm with their mother wrapped around them.
