Default 'Monkey Wrench' Birthday Quilt for My Son-- Manly Quilt!

I made this monkey wrench for my son's 25th birthday. Some of the plaids in the quilt were from shirts he wore as a little boy. I included a surprise on the back, too... For the binding I pieced all the plaids together. He really seemed to like his quilt, so I'm happy.

This pattern is also known as Churn Dash.

I love it! So homey and manly looking. I've a bunch of homespuns that would work great for this quilt!
