    Your mother is a treasure and you are so blessed to still have her quilting. I love the way you quilted it and the name came out beautifully. Thanks for sharing. I will be cheering your mother on.

    What a wonderful personalization. It's so great your mom is still sewing and quilting. I try to keep mine busy with projects too, keeps her active and her mind busy, besides I just love the fantastic handwork and embroidery she does.

    Since you monogrammed after it was quilted, can you see it on the back? I was thinking of adding a name to a finished quilt.

    Yes, you do see the lettering on the back of the quilt. I really like putting the name on the completed quilt best. It gives solidarity to the finished product. The back looks fine with it showing through I think.
