Monster Block is Finished
#1
Here is the final product of the paper piecing pattern that I made. I have to say I learned a lot in the process and I would encourage anyone with a bit of patience to give it a try. Im posting all the pictures again for those who did not see my first post. My monster didnt line up very well however I figured out why I had so much problem with this. Well at least I believe I have. :) We will see on my next attempt at PP pattern making. I had the most problems when there was lots of curvature in the pattern which I tried to angle out but then that force me to make many small angles requiring extra piecing. As I look at the picture after piecing the way I did I see many places I could have altered the patterns to reduce the number of piecing and sectioning in the pattern. He is not a perfect lil monster..but I had so much fun trying to make him.. he has found a special place in my heart and on my sewing room wall. Im going to make wall hanging with this lil guy and hang him over my sewing machine wall.
