What can I say? I am envious of your ability to create such wonderful art quilts. Your thread painting is wonderfully done. I've been trying to "move" into art quilting ...... and am especially drawn to landscape quilts ..... but it has not been an easy transition for me. I have fused an art quilt of the red rocks in Sedona (I used a photo as my inspiration). Athough I am quite please with it so far, I need to improve on my FMQ and thread painting before I tackle the machine quilting. Any suggestions of good resources I can use? I took a class recently and have purchased a couple of books. But I'm afraid that maybe I'm just not meant to do this type of quilting .... when I try, mine looks awful! Any suggestions?
