    If I'd of paid attention to what I've read I'd know you said it's single strand perle cotton. Glad I went back and looked. Silly me :o)

    Go to Joanns to the embroidery section, look for PERLE Cotton, get ball or spool of it and get an embroidery needle with a larger eye and a good sharp point. Start stitching with one strand with a running stitch! Have Fun

    Oh, I'm so excited I just found TWO spools of perle cotton embroidery thread. Now I just need a couple of really sharp needles. Anxious to get started, but I think I will wait 'til I'm in recovery to give it a try. Besides, I still need needles.

    I love the big stitches. I was thinking of making a quilt of homespuns and using a big stick what do you think? Should I use a dark thread so it stands out against the plaids?
