    yes, they are similar but I think they are a little fussier than I am, just go for it!

    Aren't there different weights of pearle cotton? What size did you use?

    I love the big stitch. I haven't done this in a while but I remember how quickly it went and how good it felt to 'hand quilt' a piece. Your pattern is beautiful.

    I used it once on a 30s quilt for my DD. I was amazed at how lovely it turned. A friend of mine called it "primitive quilting." I'm not sure if that's correct, but it sure gives a nice old fashioned look to a thirties quilt. 8-)
