    Default More Memorial Quilts

Last year the mother of a good friend died and I offered to make her a memorial quilt from some of her clothing. She was very pleased and brought 1 cotton robe, 2 cotton gowns and 1 cotton blouse. Unfortunately, they really had nothing in common color or style wise. After a lot of thinking and looking at a lot of photos I came up with the larger quilt. I made two smaller ones from some of the scraps for some reason, not really knowing what she would do with them. She loved all 3, gave the two small ones to her daughters and requested 4 more for other family members. Well, I am down to some pretty small pieces, but I have one top almost completed. What do you think? Haven't decided what to do for the other 3 quilts she needs. The top photo is the one I made today, the other photo is of the quilts I made last year.

Very pretty and creative use of the clothing items. I'm sure they all love them.
