I use Polyfil traditional batting made by Fairfield. It is a denser batting and I use 2 layers. works fine as far as I know. I have been making these for 15 yrs and haven't had any complaints.

No no no that cat belongs to the villain Ernst Blofeld! I have to be the good guy!! Maybe I could capture the bad guys by wrapping them up in a quilt ya think? Or entwine them in thread?? LOL
