I donate baby quilts to our pregnancy center here in my small mountain town, and come away more blessed I am sure, than the babies/ moms that recieve them.. some reason, even when I have to use cut up clothing in good , sturdy condition for the fabrics for these quilts, they turn out lovely.. I am thankful there are others like you, who like to donate as well.. awesome!

Aww! Thank you. I made a quilt two weeks ago for a local 12 year-old boy who was at the Cleveland Clinic. His Aunt came to the H.O.P.E. office to tell us how much he loved the quilt. I just happened to be there when she came in. He said he wanted to keep the fan blowing in his room, but it made him so cold, so he wanted the quilt on him to help keep him warm. He died last Thursday. Knowing that such a small thing I did gave him some comfort in his last week is such a blessing. Even if he had only had that quilt one day, that would have been enough.

Now I know what to do with that bright striped material that I bought for a clown costume - that second quilt picture says it all - GREAT QUILT FOR A CHILD! Thank you so much for showing us these quilts!
