    Default More Strings!

I swear they are multiplying overnight! This is a different take on the Arkansas Crossroads pattern . It will go to our guild to be quilted and then gifted when needed.

I used ancient tissue patterns cut into 6 1/2 inch squares, as my foundation. I shortened my stitch length and found the tissue paper was very easy to remove. The cream background fabric was a 100% cotton sheet from Goodwill. Thanks for looking.

That is really pretty! Yes, I agree! Scraps certainly multiply!

Tissue paper is nice, but, if you check with your Dr. you might be able to get the end of the roll of the paper they use
on the exam tables. I did.

I just went into my batik scraps and used some then made more. Yikes. Some lucky person will love that.

I use old phone book pages for my paper on string blocks. I really like this pattern you used. I have about forty 6.5 blocks made so far and still haven't made a dent in the scrap piles.

Like this "different take". It's a fabulous quilt pattern. Somebody is going to get some good use out of it. Thanks for posting.
