Here's the link to the tute for anyone who missed it http://blog.missouriquiltco.com/2009...tally-tubular/

These took 5 FQs to make, including binding. The backing was extra. It took me a few hours in total. I experimented with zig zagging on the quilting - I figured since my SITD is always wonky anyway...

The Doll Quilt is for the the Nov/Dec swap, I don't yet know if I'll keep the runner or give it to someone for Christmas.

The fabric is Merry and Bright by Moda - I got it from beachlady in the Mare Stare poll so thanks again :D

And the fourth in a doll quilt!

Three FQs yielded four blocks so I used 3 in a table runner...

Here's some quilting detail, front and back.

Oh, there's a mistake in the tute BTW, she says cut the large strip 4 1/4" and it should be 4 1/2"... :? :D

    Thanks! :D

Can't take credit for the fabric though, beachlady chose that!

Gai - here's a pic of the crystals - and this is the second growth! There were more a couple of weeks ago, Joey especially was really excited! Then Lily got hold of it and scraped them all off! So we put it in vinegar again, and voilą! Luckily it worked! Ask Joey how annoying little sisters are.

    This is relly pretty.
I am going to do some using my left over strip sets. I just finish putting together a lone star that used 2 1/4 strips. I will have to open up 3 seams per set. Should get lots of blocks out of them.
