I started quilting it a couple of weeks ago but took a break to make some little stuff so I don't get burned out. I'm just learning FMQ right now and I'm not a natural for it so I have to make myself do it.

Right now I'm just following my gut and going by the piece. On some prints I go around the print pattern on light pieces I'm doing kind of a pebbly texture on pieces I dont know what to do with I just wander around or make little loops.

I've only got four blocks quilted. I have two Christmas table runners to bind then I'll start up on it again. So far it's okay as long as I don't try straight lines. When I first started, I thought straight lines by the piece would be easy. I did two blocks and ripped out the stitching. It looked awful!. I never dreamed a simple straight line would be so hard when FMQ.

Hi, I am french living in Paris, and loving your quilt. Would you tell me where to find the pattern. It is a bit different from the one I recently did, and I would love to change the pattern. Thanks. Catherine

I found it on Quilter's Cache. There are truckloads of free patterns on that site. Here is a link.
