    Default Mother Goose Quilt

Mother Goose baby quilt. This is one of the first quilts that I ever attempted many years ago. I gave up on it as it was wonky. Recently I finally decided one day to either throw it out or fix it the best I could, so I tried to fix it. It is not perfect, but it is much better and it is finished. Yeah!! It is hand quilted and painted with fabric paints. I did embellish the painted figures a little bit with some hand embroidery. The hearts are machine applique. I think I can live with it now.

Isn't it nice to recover a quilt that had problems. This one looks so nice is is so very nostalgic. I love the vintage child fables. Nice combination of skills.
