The UK only has one Mothering Sunday, it is indeed the equivalent of the US Mothers Day.

Hi Guys,

Yes... Mothering Sunday and Mothers Day are indeed the same thing... I think Mothering Sunday is just a slightly old fashioned term for it....but then I am a bit of an old fashioned gal!

I know that you have your Mothers Day in May so we expect to see all the goodies that you get too.

But I have to say that the best gift of all is when your children say "I love you" and you can see that love reflected in their eyes...... makes it all worth while!
