As hard as it is for me to do "pastels", mama is a pastel person, she also remembers hand tying quilts, like me she likes flowers, so with paint chips in hand i go shopping, this is not my stash, ok, i'm a dash bolder. Anyway I love my moma sooo much i want to please her with a large lap throw, she's always cold, even when its 80 degrees outside.
It was very difficult for me to work with such whimpy colors. I managed to get it done hand tie and all. The yoyos are my version of flowers for moma.

I will take a picture of her wrapped in it and if she approves, i will post it.

Don't forget your moma's. Those that have lost their mothers may you remember her with fondness.

    Happy mothers Day!

You put so much thought and love in that quilt!!! I love the story and the quilt :D:D

This Mother's Day is especially precious to me as my Mom had major surgery in February and is doing great
    I'm so full of gratitude.

This is gorgeous!! Love the colors...I think they're quite vibrant and cheery! Would love to see a pic though of the entire quilt to get a true feel for it...it's really beautiful.

Give your Mom a hug from me. Wish I could hug mine, it's been 28 years, she would have been 84 this Mom's Day.
