Here is a little wall hanging I made for my mom for Mother's Day. I haven't made anything small in quite awhile so this size project was quite a breath of fresh air. It was fun paying attention to all the detail. This was also the first quilt I have finished the binding by hand on. I have to say that the extra time involved is definitely worth it. The binding looks sooooo nice when it's hand sewn on the back. I will make every effort possible to finish every other project I make like that.

Oh, Rachel, that is just beautiful. Your mom is going to love it. I really like the way you quilted it differently in each section--really adds interest and texture. Just love it!!
