Mothers Day wall hanging
The fabric came up in a game at a quilting retreat. I mentioned that it reminded me of the skirt my mothers made for me in 6th grade. So my friend who won the game gave it to me. I think, though, that the skirt was more blue and was tulips? But it still reminds me of her because she always had an iris garden. I still remember her dividing the irises. I embroidered the label and made the sleeve out of it.

Very pretty! I love the purple fabric you used. We live in Iowa and Mt. Pleasant is the next town where I went to high school and it is where we shop etc. The town flower is Irises and the town nickname is the Iris City.
