Love this, bright colors! Put it away and do a quickie project than come back to it. Do some rearranging and see what pops out at you.

Went back and read some more of the posts. I too like the sashing. I do a lot of project linus quilts so if you don't like the bright colors make some charity quilts for kids out of those blocks. Just a thought.

Page 2 on the bottom, I have added sashing. It is a blue jean color. The picture is not really good. But its a start.....

EDIT: Okay, everyone....how is this sashing? I have no idea how to add it, but this is what I have come up with. Nothing is sewed together yet......[/quote]

It's blue of course I love it! I think it makes the blocks pop. As far as adding sashing, I think most basic quilt books show you how or you can do a search & may find something. I usually add to sides of each block & form rows (keep in mind you don't have to add to each side because the right side of one will join the left of the next) - then add longer strip between each row.

Your other option would be to sash them individually or in groups of four, six, eight whatever. If you think you need to break it up a bit. Either white, dark blue or red. Sorry - didn't read! You've already done that - my bad

Some times finishing a quilt is as important as starting it. If you're not feeling like you want to finish a queen sized quilt because you're getting bored with the block, why don't you take the blocks you have made, and turn it into a lapquilt.

You can try making an oversized center block out of the same or another pattern and use the smaller blocks to flank it with. You'll finish with it sooner.

The blue sashing is EXACTLY what I had in mind! It looks wonderful now! I see you took out the yellow and white blocks, too. Now it really has definition!
