    I just sewed the label on this afternoon and it's officially done! This is a pattern from Thimbleberries' Book of Quilts, called Mountain Flower. Thanks for looking!

    Thanks for your kind comments! Yes, the flower heads are hand appliqued. I had never done applique before, and wanted to start with something that had big pieces, and not too many of them! I fused the flowerheads to the fabric then buttonhole stitched around the edges. Next project will be more applique - with smaller pieces, maybe!
