    Thought I would share some things I have made with selvages.
    I finally looked up selvages on google...Wikipedia has this among other things to say about Selvage..."The terms selvage and selvedge are a corruption of "self-edge", ".........I didn't know that, did you?

    KC Chiefs for DIL, KC, Royals for GD

    left over strips from bargello for son

    another made from left over strips from tan & blue Navajo quilt, this one is for me

    strings and selvages for sister in her favorite colors

    9-patch for my grandson's girl friend

    I didn't think you could use a quilted mousepad...but they work ok.

    oh those are cute.
    now if we could only get Eleanor Burns of Quilt in a Day to say selvege when talking about the edge of fabric she cuts off and not SALVAGE as in finding gold in a shipwreck. he,he.
