I've got to save my money so I can send you a quilt! Beautiful work! Both the quilting and the piecing and applique.

All the applique she sewed by hand ...she did a beautiful job on this quilt!

I had different design ideas in the beginning and she wanted simple quilting as she didn't want to lose inches with the size of the quilt and I think she was right with her ideas...sometimes I think I get a bit excited about quilting designs....and what I really want most is for the quilter to be happy with the end product...so I hope this accomplishes what her vision is....it is a lovely quilt!

I loosely stippled in the border around the appliques...in the patched blocks I quilted wavy cross hatching.....In the border corner stones...I traced around one of her appliques star flowers and then just traced those in each corner stone and then quilted it ....I thought something special needed to be put in those corners....the inner green borer I did different sized loops to give different texture..but not take away so much from the rest of the quilt.

I quilted this on my INNOVA ...No computer or pantograph quilting.
M Sent me Quilter's dream batting to use in her quilt.....Thanks for looking!
    this is beautiful!! :)

Thanks for sharing. Your work looks great. I love to see
ideas of machine quilting. She did such a nice job too
    piecing the quilt.
