These are what I thought were mug rugs. :) My crafty mother made these for me years and years and years ago. They actually used to have white fringe on the two ends so that they actually looked like scatter rugs. They used to be cute. I have two on my desk. The second picture shows the size they are.

The Original Mug Rugs I have are miniature woven rag rugs ... still use them.

Though I do like the new quilty ones, as it does the job for that drink and treat all in one!
