It does say that on the pattern but I don't have one so my carpet has to do!

[QUOTE=QultingaddictUK;7448459]Yes I have the snowball blocks but they are being made from two different fabrics as the first quilt is going to be semi scrappy whilst the proper one will be all coordinating, when I have all the fabrics delivered.
Here is a copy of the original pattern, I was lucky I downloaded when I did as it is no longer on Clothworks project page.[/QUOTE

Ok gotcha! I did one like that ...one of my first...had gotten from an estate sale a shoe box full of 2 1/2", but I did my snowballs all with my own same color fabric to hi lite the scrappy look....I love that look!!! Maybe time to make another with my " own" scraps now....

This quilt is progressing quite fast, I think it is because you really have to concentrate and it is turning out to be such a pretty quilt IMO. The one that I am making for Gwen's retirement is still on the back burner as I have changed my mind 3 times on the snowball fabric, duh! On my one, below, you may notice that I now have 3 different fabrics for them as they do take up a lot of fabrics and I am making it a lot bigger than the pattern said, 60" x 66" which it far too small for me.

I am also making another quilt at the same time using up some of my 2" squares!
