    Default Multi-tasking Bonnie Hunters way!

I am going to be making a special quilt for my friend who is retiring in May and as it going to be rather special and I am waiting for all the fabrics to arrive I started a trial run with fabric from my stash, hence the two different fabrics for the snowball blocks but.............. This "Sweet Caroline" pattern is one that you can' do all of it chain peicing so I grabbed my box of 2" squares and am making this pattern http://quiltville.blogspot.co.uk/201...tern-time.html but making the blocks 4 x 4 instead of the 3 x 3. I know us ladies are good at multi-tasking but this is the enth for me as I really do have to concentrate!

They are both going to be spectacular. I like your idea of a 16 patch vs. a 9 patch. Seems like I have to pay more attention with the 9 patch, where as I can just make pairs of squares for the 16 patches.
I try to always have a stack of pieces on hand for enders & leaders. I love it when I get a magic 'bonus quilt'

Anxious to see finished. Will you machine or handquilt?

It looks like your version will be different from pic...... There will be no color connected snowballs? Or did I miss something in the translation?

Yes I have the snowball blocks but they are being made from two different fabrics as the first quilt is going to be semi scrappy whilst the proper one will be all coordinating, when I have all the fabrics delivered.
Here is a copy of the original pattern, I was lucky I downloaded when I did as it is no longer on Clothworks project page.

That is a really cute pattern. This is where a design wall comes in really handy.

I like what you are doing. Don't fuss about different "whites". The magazines all seem to be scattering different backgrounds in the same color family.
