    Ok, I meant to post this sooner for you all.
    Thanks for all the compliments, no the quilts are not for my baby, as they're too girly and I'm having a boy, but I'm sure we'll find another use for them. I think I will give mine to the firemen to raffle off at one of their fundraisers this summer.


    So my mother finished her quilt tonight. It ended up being a lot less wonky than I had expected, some of the blocks were 1" off from each other, so we had to fuss with several of the blocks.


    BTW, we started another one tonight, and I helped with the cutting and measuring so the seams are more even now, the quilt is going to look sooooo nice! I didn't take any pics, so I don't have a preview for you this week, but I'll show you next week :)

    We didn't use jelly rolls though, we just cut 2.5" strips of fabric ourselves.
