I was thinking about going to my local quilt shop about an hour away to purchase this pattern. But before I do that, is it difficult to make? My brain isn't what it was a few years ago and I don't want to waste money on something I can't finish.

I believe you can order it online. I would Google it and see first instead of making that trip if that was all you were going to purchase. Not all quilt shops have the pattern Call first. It isn't an inexpensive pattern.

I'm 73 years old, and all I had for directions was the tutorial. Made the template from her directions for making the template, my 12 finished squares turned out a bit smaller than the 6" it was supposed to be, so had to adjust the template a bit, but it still came out lovely. Try using unimportant fabric for your first one, although you will probably still like it. I hands sewed the tips together rather than machine sewed them and didn't put in the crease in each petal.

I think I am hexed. I can't get registered to the maker's site so can't get the pattern. I have never received the activation email and when I try to log in, I get a message saying my email address is not valid??????? Any suggestions.......

    This is very pretty.
