    For me I search Craigs List using the terms fabric, sewing or quilting and always find several estate sales or garage sales that have some of my criteria. Though, it really helps if you're located near a large city. I can see how people in remote areas just don't have the access to the sales, like we suburbanites do.

    Thanks....It seems like for me they just put up signs and I am pretty late for the good stuff. I will keep checking on Craigs list and hopefully stuff shows up this spring!!

    great price...lovely pieces. even if they aren't your favorite colors, if you can grab similar hues and keep them together in a quiilt you make for someone else with different color tastes, or put into a chairity quilt.
    my GS decided they wanted bright lime green, pink, & purple in a quilt. i went thru my closets and nothing i had was bright enough, so had tostart from scratch to assemble the quilt! pays to keep differnt ones around.

    You did real good I haven't been too any sales yet this year
    as we are having nothing but RAIN and some more RAIN.
    Hopefully pretty soon. :D
