WOW - what an absolutely gorgeous quilt. I love batiks and have been collecting batiks for some time to do a Boston Commons quilt that I saw on the cover of a magazine. Now I just need to collect some time to make it, but first a quilt for my son and DIL. My son had asked for an Egyptian quilt a few years ago and bad mother that I am, I got the fabric, but didn't make the quilt. Then two weeks ago DIL asked if I would make them a quilt in lavendars and purples for their bedroom. I can't refuse, since have lots of fabric in those colors and after all she did give us the most beautiful granddaughter in the world.
