    Wow, your quilt is absolutely stunning. I love the colors, the leaves and the quilting. All are awesome! I keep trying to figure out what you have done in the background though. Did you just randomly piece it or was there a method?

    The whitish background is laid out in a 4 x 5 block pattern. Each block is like a 4-patch, except while one seam is centered across the block, the other seam going the other way is offset from each other. And the blocks are turned alternating ways from each other to make it look more random.
