So, while she got started with her treatments, I got started with "her" quilt hoping to get it done quickly. A trip interferred and life in general (plus a couple of holidays as well) and I finally have it done and can post a few pics.
The really good news is that the chemo has taken care of that tumor and that she doesn't even have to complete all 16 treatments.
The quilt is finally done and I'll be hand delivering it to her soon and she can enjoy it in good health. I am so thankful for that!
BTW, http://www.eaglemountainquilting.com/ did the quilting and did a wonderful job! I highly recommend them. Even with shipping, it was more reasonable than I could get locally.

Wow, beautiful quilt and please let us know what your friend says when she receives it from you. What a special gift for a special friend!
I hope your friend is feeling better now as she has been thru alot of pain and stress.
