The votes on the border were pretty even for the peace signs or this border that my daughter chose. I liked the peace signs so of course she chose the sayings :) Though I think this border is busy looking, every color in the border is found in the quilt and I'm very proud/pleased with how well it turned out. Now it's time to start deciding what to do for backing. She asked for flannel and now that I've bought it......she's changed her mind and wants fleece. LOL Anyone know anything about using fleece as a background.......that will probably be my next post :)

The name of the pattern is "Amish Wedding Ring" though we affectionately call it "The Baby Maker". I was complaining about how difficult the quilt pattern was to my daughter and she told me "your grandchildren will be conceived under that quilt" :)
I remember your telling us about her saying that! Wow, you did a splendid job. You should have no fear of any pattern you want to do now. Seems like one of the hardest ones is behind you and it is splendid. She now has an heirloom. It is marvelous. Love it. Good job. Beautiful quilt. Bet you are still dreaming about working on it in your sleep.

Love the design and the bright colors. The borders are perfect with all the colors.
