LOve it! Quick question....how long did you make your starter piece, and did you do two rows of the first fabric or start with a block of 5 inches x length?? Can you tell I want to make one?? LOL

I agree with sewlmatesister, would love to make one myself but wonder.... how would you make that a baby quilt.... hmmmmm guess I'm gonna be doing lots of math and trial and error to make this one. Thanks Eddie! You do an awesome job on all your quilts, and make me want to make more LOL

Geez Brooke, no math for me, figure I'd just keep going round and round, but Eddie might tell us more! LOL

Very easy to make! Just sew a bunch of 1.5" strips together, end to end so that you have an enormously long strip of fabric. Then, starting at one end you cut it at about 20" or so and sew it to the side of your long strips of fabric so that it's now two strips wide and cut it. Then you just go round and round sewing. As you come to the edge of each side you then cut, turn 90 degrees and start sewing more on. You can see that the colors of each strip wrap around the corners and keep going.

Very nice! That would be a great way to use up leftover strips also!

How about table runners and placemats or a table topper? Gotta try this!

Great job Eddie! Turned out really beautiful.

The "foundation" idea is a good one. Something to think about and using up all those extra strips from other projects.
