    Yes the roses are raw edge applique, and sewn about 1/3" from the edge so that the edge gets frayed a lot.

    Thanks for the compliments everyone! Just an example of what you can do when you go beyond what the pattern exactly calls for.

    Way to go Janice!! This is pretty and you should have heard the comments around me when you showed your quilt. Everyone likes it. Yes, by all means, enter it in the show. We all love it.
