    I think once you clean and oil her up, she'll quiet down. My old Singer gets louder when it needs to be oiled. Billy or Miz Johnny can tell you how to adjust the stitch length.

    Very pretty and you need to oil it up good, hard telling how since it was oiled. Talk to lostn51 or Charlee.

    Yes, stitch length is the knob by the singer logo and under the bobbin winder. Just don't loosen it too much! It will come out if you do, but I don't think you will have to turn it that much. Congrats on your new baby!

    Thank you all - she is a pretty girl for her age. I have named her Darcy which means "Dark One".

    I tried turning the silver knob but the stitch remains the same length no matter what position it's in.
