I finally got her home and she is in mint condition. When I tilted her open I even found a never used tube of motor grease in its original green box. She is extremely heavy and quite roudy (loud) and was born in 1949. The case is in excellent condition. I have only sewn a little with her and the only thing I can find wrong is that I cannot adjust the stitch length.

I think you CAN adjust the stitch length - use the silver knob over on the right by the Singer logo...

So pretty. You will enjoy sewing with her.

And, yes what have you named her?

    Blessings,
