    For the Kindle, you just need to change your cutting dimensions for the outside, inside, batting, and interfacing to 10" X 14". Your final measurements after quilting and sewing the front and back together and squaring up is 9 x 13.

    Still trying to figure out the best way to upload the tutorial.

    Oil Cloth might help in making a cover water resistant, but considering the fact that this is a cover, there is too much of the reader that is open. Haven't tried it, but you might be able to put the reader in a zip lock for short periods of time without the device overheating. This would allow you to both have a nice soak and read in the bathtub, or take it somewhere where water might splash on it.
