We are full time RVers so I don't have a "sewing room". I was using the back of one of the dining room chairs (they are upholsterd) that sits next to my recliner. I was afraid I was going to ruin the chair. So I designed this bag to hold a lot of my needs. I also crochet and Swedish Weave so it serves a lot of purposes. I wanted a big pin cushion and started searching for filler. Finally decided the best way was to buy 2 cheap pin cushion and tear them apart. The pin cushion outer is a little piece I still had of vintage huck fabric which I created the design with Huck Embroidery. The scrap bag facing is that also. The seat of this chair has storage so that is where one of my mats, my ruler and cutters are. I have a 13 x 13 x 13 canvas "box" that store my material and WIP. There is also some extra material in a suitcase in the closet.

Where there is a will there is away with quilter's.
This is a fantastic idea. This would be good for women that live in small apt's too.

You have some clever ideas. We have a 27 ft trailer, but we don't go full time. I see that you have a 5th wheel, but our trailer would probably be too small for full time. We will go to Florida for the month of December and I think that I will try to make some kind of a caddy like yours. Sometimes I tend to take too much and then I do very little. It's too much trouble to get the stuff out from under the bed.

Great idea! It's amazing what we can do with a little bit of space and the desire to continue our hobby no matter where we are!
