    I think we cut the squares at either 9 inches or 8 ½ inches to get 4 squares out of a fat quarter. I did all the cutting.

    That was my niece's preference. She wanted her quilt puffy with simple quilting. That was the first design I drew and she liked it so well that she didn't want to see any other quilting designs. She's an easy customer! Plus, that quilting design went really quick which was also important to her. She really wanted it all finished before they left for home that afternoon.

    This niece has always enjoyed crafty projects. She's so easy to teach. I just tell her and show her something and she's got it!
