Have you ever said something and then wished you could take it back? I had just started quilting and had been looking at magazines where I first saw a picture quilt. I told my son I could make a quilt of his Junior Dragster - wrong... he is not one to forget and had hounded me for months... my excuse first I'm gathering the fabrics... then it was I'm still learning how to use my new machine.. well I buckled down and got started in February 2010, my goal was to give it to him at the final race of the season - 4AM the night before we would leave for the track I competed the quilt ... hid it in the motor home when I was packing. He finished 2nd points but this quilt was #1 with him!!
