Default my 1st FMQ project completed. :-)

I spent 3 days & made a baby quilt from start to finish on my brother 1500. Since my frame hasn't arrived, I made a few mistakes & spent time taking them out. oh well, live & learn! This quilt pattern was in a quilting magazine and the pattern was called "Animal Crackers". My version was made completely from scraps & i only spent $5 on the backing. There's a picture of a block & of the back so you can see my real 1st attempt at fmq.

Pretty quilt..free motion is fun, once you get a pattern of some sort going. Love the soft colors.

It's a very pretty quilt and you inspire me to keep working at FMQ. I think you did great for a first try and you've got more guts than I have to work on an actual quilt! lol I haven't gotten the hang of it yet, but I hear if we keep trying we will perfect it.
