I love your fabrics and can't wait to see more. You may need to do a few more blocks to get the feel for it.

After reading your replies I agree something needs to change so I made up a mox-up layout in EQ7 and of course I forgot to change a couple star points in the 2nd row middle section but I think you can get an idea. Using the same fabrics but in different locations. Think this will be more pleasing. I tried to scan the actual fabrics to give a better idea. Don't know if this makes it look better or worse.

Your color combination is very interesting and I am sure will be beautiful. I will be anxious to see more of this project.

Putting white where the dark navy is now will really brighten it up and make it pop.

Now that star point looks lost again the blue/white fabric. What do you all think?
You need more contrast in your fabrics. It took me awhile to “find” the star points you were talking about. These fabrics blend into each other too much and you lose the legs of the star.

These fabrics are stunning. I like the change you made based on Chester's recommendation....this will be a very elegant quilt when done, as someone already pointed out.

    Chester...your HS rocks, too...

I'm working on one right now and I agree with others who have said that there's not enough contrast between the dark blue and the dark green, although they're beautiful fabrics. Your mocked-up software version is better.
