Love the colors of the block. I am impatiently waiting for my featherweight to show up next week. Yours is beautiful. Enjoy!

Love the blocks and especially your f/w. I'm interested in how you got perfect 1/4 in. seams. I've not tried to make blocks on my little f/w yet, waiting on seam guide to come in and then I will try to tackle a block or two (hopefully make a whole quilt with my f/w). Didn't look like you had different foot or anything, so was just wondering. Thanks.

LOL!!! Yes, the operator had a lot to do with it and I think for HIS first attempt HE did a great job. Don't worry, no offense taken, I thought it was funny. Laughing over here.

That's just it, my 1/4" is way off. They are far from perfect. Haven't figured out yet how to make that adjustment, but I know there is a way. Maybe a different foot or a 1/4" guide. I was just tinkering around. I didn't even use any pins. That probably would have helped quite a bit also. The next one will be much better, I promise.

Make sure you tack your seams and the ends where your corners meet. Then they can't move. Until you can get a good 1/4" by eye you can put tape along your faceplate so you have a guide. No need to buy anything. Painter's tape is blue and is great for this but masking tape would work too.
