Default My 2013 mission to use scraps

My mission this year is to make quilts using up as many of my scraps and stash as I can. Here is my first finished top, my take on roman stripes or amish stripes. All from scraps and stash. Now it just needs to be quilted. I also have a large supply of sheets as my mom buys them for me, she loves to go to thrift stores. One of them will become the backing so no fabric to buy there either. This will be one of the grands gift next Christmas.

What a beautiful scrap quilt. I am doing the same thing this year. I am making valentines right now from scraps and stash. I'm looking forward to seeing your scrap quilts. I am also working on UFOs again this year.
