Sure, Karamarie... This is going inside so I just used a treated plywood, paint primer, then painted. The first one I did is for the outside and I used plywood, primer, paint, and a coat of weather treatment stuff. I made sure the edges were weather treated really well. If it gets ruined over time, I'll just make a new one but others have shared it last for several years. Someone mentioned MDO board so you have some options.

Congrats on a a great job with the colors and design. Your quilt is pretty. Thanks for the tips. I want to play with some paints and left-over plywood too.
