Well here is my 2nd attempt at applique and I can say I really loved making it. It took a lot of concentration so I worked on it and took frequent breaks. Now I think I'm hooked on applique :-D . First it was patchwork, then paper piecing, now applique! I enjoy all of it. I hoping next it will be FMQ, but am still nervous about starting. I'm sure it's in my future tho.

I took a picture of the back of the top to show the sewing that I did. I used mostly variagated purple, red, yellow and green thread. Now I'm going to quilt it by echoing the flowers, but I'm not sure how to do the background. Any ideas??

Thanks for looking! I really hope you like it. Have a great day!!

Very nice - did you hand applique or machine and if so what stitch did you use?
